Job description
Role Overview
This role sits within Singtel’s business management function in Singapore and supports senior leadership through governance coordination, executive reporting, planning, and internal communications. The position is focused on bringing together inputs from multiple business units, turning them into clear decision-support materials, and helping ensure leadership forums and business cycles run smoothly.
Governance and Management Cadence
- Plan and coordinate major leadership routines such as BPRs, CRC, CEO/CFO sessions, Board and ExCom meetings, as well as budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Collect, combine, and refine inputs from across business units so that senior leaders receive aligned and decision-ready information.
- Maintain strong governance standards by tracking deliverables, following up on actions, and ensuring closure of decisions and tasks.
- Act as the main coordinator for CEO materials, keeping the storyline consistent, data accurate, and messaging aligned across teams.
- Handle sensitive information carefully and use judgment to distinguish between internal-use content and information suitable for external sharing.
- Own KPI definition, tracking, and reporting for senior leadership within Digital infraCo.
Reporting and Executive Materials
- Prepare and consolidate materials for CEO-level forums, including Board and ExCom meetings, Group Management Committee meetings, quarterly and ad hoc business updates, and Annual Report MD&A content.
- Ensure all reports, decks, and presentations are accurate, consistent, and easy for leadership to interpret.
- Support the creation of CEO presentations, key talking points, and communication materials for both internal and external audiences.
Business Planning
- Contribute to the Annual Operating Plan, budgeting, and in-year forecasting processes.
- Work with FP&A and business teams to bring together financial results, business drivers, and performance commentary.
- Spot risks, opportunities, and performance shortfalls that can inform management decisions.
- Convert financial and business information into structured insights that are clear and actionable for leadership.
CEO Communications and Events
- Drive OpCo-wide communication and engagement initiatives, including leadership workshops, group-level engagements, town halls, and employee sessions.
- Own end-to-end coordination of content development, messaging, stakeholder engagement, and event logistics.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to make sure communication efforts are aligned and delivered effectively.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a similar field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in corporate planning, business strategy, governance, management reporting, financial analysis, or related work.
- Background in preparing executive presentations, management materials, and storyboarding for senior leaders.
- Experience organising large corporate events, leadership sessions, or conferences.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Sound commercial awareness and strong business judgment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the skill to turn data into meaningful business insights.
- Good interpersonal, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills, with the ability to work across functions.
- Self-driven, able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and delivering quality output under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience supporting senior executives and leadership stakeholders.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and trustworthy with confidential information.
Rewards and Benefits
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Comprehensive health and wellness coverage.
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities.
- Internal mobility pathways.
