Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead Business Development within our Managed Services division. This pivotal role focuses on pre-sales engagement, working alongside local account teams and leveraging our extensive global delivery network and ecosystem partners to craft innovative managed service solutions. You will drive the expansion of PwC's managed services portfolio in Ireland, acting as the essential bridge between client needs and delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue managed services opportunities by architecting tailored solutions utilizing global network assets and third-party ecosystems.
• Collaborate with local sector teams to spearhead business development activities focused on managed services offerings.
• Partner with service architects to develop customized proposals for client engagements based on local needs.
• Contribute to the growth and strategic development of the Managed Services business across sectors within Ireland.
• Enhance internal understanding and knowledge sharing of Managed Services capabilities and trends.
• Create compelling collateral and insights to strengthen managed service propositions.
• Stay informed on market trends, including AI applications, to continuously evolve service offerings.
• Mentor and coach consulting staff to broaden their expertise and client portfolios in Managed Services.
• Participate in contracting processes involving clients, delivery networks, and ecosystem partners.
• Support team development through leadership, coaching, and mentorship to build strong local managed services capabilities.
• Drive market activation and expansion efforts in collaboration with Managed Services leadership.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven success in identifying, winning, and supporting delivery of Managed Services engagements.
• In-depth knowledge of Managed Services delivery models along with contractual and commercial frameworks.
• Experience working with cross-territory delivery ecosystems to create client-focused solutions and proposals.
• Familiarity with advisory and implementation projects and their complementary roles in Managed Services growth.
• Interest and awareness of relevant market trends and leveraging them to develop sector-specific managed services.
• Strong leadership background in nurturing high-performing teams across diverse locations and cultures.
• Excellent collaboration skills and track record in mentoring teams involved in Managed Services.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Robust negotiation and contracting expertise.
• Capability to deliver sales and operational excellence while maintaining quality standards in managed services processes.
