Job description
Role Overview
This senior managerial position in Accounts and Finance is based in Chakan, Pune. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance & Strategy, the role demands strategic financial leadership across multiple business segments within the group to achieve targeted financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to develop business plans and financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Design and review financial models to meet corporate targets.
- Lead M&A activities including tax, legal structuring, and due diligence processes.
- Supervise treasury operations, cash flow management, and investment of surplus funds to maximize returns while maintaining liquidity.
- Manage capital raising efforts through debt financing from banks and financial institutions for both new and ongoing projects, including debt restructuring.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, tax planning, internal controls, and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Generate accurate and timely financial statements and reports adhering to GAAP standards.
- Serve as a financial advisor during contract negotiations, ensuring terms support revenue recognition and healthy cash flow.
- Analyze variances between projected and actual financial results, proposing corrective workflows.
- Liaise with tax authorities and handle related taxation matters.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of finance, legal compliance, and accounting principles.
- 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Experienced in corporate finance, economic and business analysis, and fund raising through banks and financial institutions.
- Proficient in managing mergers, reverse mergers, and implementing operational processes including SOPs.
- Effective leadership skills with experience managing teams.

Compensation
