Senior Logistics Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Logistics Manager to oversee and enhance global transportation and inbound logistics operations, concentrating primarily on freight movement from Asia to the United States. This leadership position is ideal for an analytical professional who can develop transportation strategies, establish impactful reporting and key performance indicator systems, and manage relationships with internal teams and external logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Lead and manage global transportation and inbound logistics teams, ensuring efficient freight operations from Asia to the U.S.
• Drive negotiation efforts with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers.
• Design and implement advanced analytics, including dashboards and KPI frameworks to monitor performance and conduct executive reviews.
• Communicate effectively with and challenge senior stakeholders to achieve operational improvements.
• Take initiative with a hands-on approach and strong ownership of logistics processes.

Additional Experience Valued

• Expertise in drayage and domestic transportation management.
• Experience with warehousing and distribution operations.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
