Overview
The Senior Key Account Manager will lead and expand the Health & Benefits portfolio across the Western Region from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, managing a portfolio of strategic clients. This role's focus includes client retention, business growth, service excellence, and team leadership ensuring the delivery of outstanding H&B solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and nurture strategic Health & Benefits client portfolios.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Lead negotiations for renewals and design strategies to maximize client retention.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for cross-selling and upselling of services.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex client issues, ensuring swift resolutions.
- Support execution of regional and business strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Monitor portfolio performance to meet revenue, retention, and profitability goals.
- Guarantee consistent service standards across client accounts in the region.
- Lead, coach, and develop Account Managers, Handlers, and client service teams to foster a performance-oriented culture.
- Drive team engagement, performance assessments, and succession planning activities.
- Assist with engaging prospective clients and contributing to tender presentations and submissions.
- Develop growth strategies for key accounts to meet regional revenue objectives.
- Ensure exceptional client service delivery and conduct periodic strategic business reviews.
- Collaborate with insurers, service providers, and internal departments for efficient client solutions.
- Represent the company at key client meetings and industry events.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, supporting audits as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Extensive experience in employee benefits, health insurance, benefits consulting, or brokerage.
- Proven leadership experience with responsibility for coaching and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian health insurance and employee benefits market.
- Ability to manage senior-level client relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English communication skills; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
