Senior Interior Designer - Hospitality & Luxury Residential

Position Overview

WMK Architecture in Sydney is seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to join their expanding studio. This role focuses on delivering top-tier interior designs for high-end hotels, hospitality establishments, and luxury multi-residential developments across Australia. The opportunity involves shaping outstanding guest experiences and sophisticated living spaces that set new standards in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Steer the design and execution of hotel and luxury residential projects from initial concept through to final documentation, alongside the Director.
• Create innovative and commercially viable design solutions that go beyond client expectations.
• Oversee the production of detailed, high-quality Revit documentation.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior design staff, fostering a collaborative and high-achieving studio environment.
• Confidently present design concepts to clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate efforts with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure the highest standards of design are maintained throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to the ongoing expansion and success of WMK's distinguished hospitality portfolio.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a minimum of 7 years’ interior design experience specifically within hospitality, hotel, or luxury multi-residential sectors.
• Proficient in managing projects through all stages of design development.
• Advanced skills in Revit are essential.
• Exemplary capabilities in documentation and detailing.
• Strong presentation and client communication skills.
• Exhibits a collaborative leadership approach and the ability to mentor team members effectively.
• A deep passion for designing immersive, experience-driven environments.
