Senior Information Technology Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Technology Officer to lead IT operations throughout the organization and manage the entire IT environment, with support from an onsite IT Officer in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a proactive, hands-on approach for overseeing the secure, available, and reliable functioning of IT systems, networks, and devices. Additionally, the position involves championing the implementation and optimization of Odoo ERP and Microsoft 365/SharePoint platforms.

Key Duties

• Administer Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
• Supervise and maintain IT infrastructure encompassing networks, VPN connectivity, QNAP Network Attached Storage, endpoints, backups, and security protocols.
• Manage Odoo ERP system operations, user administration, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead SharePoint implementation efforts and coordinate file migration processes.
• Deliver technical support to staff throughout the group and oversee IT support workflows.
• Coordinate with IT vendors, manage software licenses and subscriptions, ensuring smooth IT operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related areas, or comparable experience.
• At least five years of experience managing IT infrastructure within small to medium businesses.
• Solid practical expertise with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Windows endpoints, networking, VPN, and cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with Odoo or equivalent ERP solutions is advantageous.
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities, strong communication skills, and problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Background

• Experience administering QNAP NAS devices.
• Participation in SharePoint migration projects.
• Knowledge of UAE data protection regulations.
• Certifications in Microsoft, Azure, Entra, networking, or security fields.
