RoC Skincare is looking for an experienced, strategic, and creative Senior Influencer Marketing Manager to advance and expand its influencer programs. This pivotal position focuses on overseeing impactful partnerships with creators, guiding campaign management, and spearheading innovative influencer strategies that boost brand visibility, engagement, and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement influencer marketing initiatives aligned with product launches, retailer efforts, and corporate goals.
- Manage all aspects of influencer campaigns, including talent scouting, outreach, contract negotiations, briefing, content review, reporting, and optimization.
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with creators, their agents, managers, and industry stakeholders across different talent levels.
- Negotiate creator rights such as content usage, whitelisting, and licensing to maximize content value on both paid and owned platforms.
- Collaborate with the Director of Social & Influencer Marketing to design campaign strategies and discover new growth areas.
- Directly supervise and mentor the Influencer Marketing Assistant Manager, fostering professional development and ensuring flawless campaign operations.
- Oversee a diverse blend of paid, organic, affiliate, and ambassador influencer partnerships that align with brand vision and yield measurable outcomes.
- Identify emerging influencers, market trends, new platforms, and cultural moments that resonate with RoC’s audience and brand positioning.
- Work cross-functionally with Social, Creative, PR, Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail Marketing, and Media teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
- Lead influencer seeding, gifting, creator mailers, and product launch support activities.
- Plan and execute influencer events, brand experiences, and creator activations to deepen brand loyalty and generate rich content.
- Support retail-specific influencer and social commerce campaigns with major partners, ensuring alignment with retailer goals and performance metrics.
- Manage affiliate and social commerce operations on platforms such as TikTok Shop, ShopMy, ShopStyle, and other emerging channels.
- Utilize platforms like Tagger and Tribe Dynamics to monitor influencer performance, benchmark competition, and find optimization opportunities.
- Analyze campaign effectiveness across key metrics—awareness, engagement, earned media value, traffic, affiliate sales, and conversions—and provide actionable recommendations.
- Oversee influencer budget management, contract negotiations, and forecasting to ensure cost-effective campaign execution.
- Present results, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and wider teams.
- Mentor junior colleagues and help institute efficient processes and best practices throughout the influencer marketing function.
- Maintain awareness of industry changes, competitive movements, and platform updates to keep RoC culturally relevant and creator-focused.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of influencer marketing experience, ideally within beauty, skincare, wellness, or consumer products sectors.
- Demonstrated capability managing paid, organic, affiliate, and creator-driven influencer campaigns.
- Experience designing and executing retailer-specific influencer campaigns and social commerce programs with key retail partners like Amazon, Ulta Beauty, Target, Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens.
- In-depth knowledge of influencer marketing technologies, affiliate programs, and social commerce mechanisms.
- Established network of creators, talent representatives, agencies, and industry professionals.
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship building, and communication skills.
- Proficient in managing budgets, forecasting campaigns, and reporting performance stats.
- Skilled in influencer marketing platforms such as Tagger, Tribe Dynamics, or CreatorIQ.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered solutions (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to streamline workflows, analyze data, and enhance campaign development.
- Excellent analytical abilities with strong data interpretation to inform strategic adjustments.
- Highly organized with superior project management capabilities and attention to detail.
- Passionate about the beauty and skincare industries, social media, and digital culture.
- Located in the New York area with availability for in-office presence at least three days weekly.
Additional Information
This position is based at RoC Skincare’s headquarters in New York, NY, requiring hybrid work with three days on-site (Tuesday through Thursday). The role offers a competitive salary between $100,000 and $115,000 depending on experience and level, complemented by bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
