Senior Implementation Consultant – East Coast, Remote

Overview

ETech Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant specializing in the Accela Civic Platform to join our team remotely, serving clients on the East Coast. This role entails partnering with various governmental entities including city, county, and state organizations to design and deploy effective solutions using the Accela platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions across multiple domains such as Land Management, Business Licensing, Professional Licensing, Code Enforcement, and Asset Management.
• Architect and deliver tailored solutions that align with client needs.
• Execute development, testing, and comprehensive documentation of final solutions.
• Conduct training sessions for both end users and technical teams on delivered solutions.
• Engage in pre-sales activities to support business development.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance pre-configured solution offerings and integrate iPaaS capabilities.
• Contribute to technical tasks including scripting, data migration, and report creation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum five years of consulting implementation experience with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software.
• At least three years’ hands-on experience with the Accela Civic Platform implementations.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong presentation capabilities.
• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Geographic ability to work within and around the Washington, DC area and willingness to travel as needed.
• Capability to perform remote work from a home office setup.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with government clients.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience scripting with SQL.
• Competence in report development technologies such as SSRS or Crystal Reports.
• Programming skills in C# .NET, Java, or Node.js.
• Project management experience or managing Managed Services engagements.
