Job description

Overview

This opportunity is shared on behalf of a partner employer that manages applications and subsequent hiring steps directly. The company is seeking a Senior Human Resource Business Partner located in the United States.

In this role, you will help shape a positive, compliant, and high-performing employee experience throughout the full employee lifecycle. You will serve as a reliable advisor to managers and employees, making sure HR policies, programs, and practices are applied consistently. The position combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on operational work across employee relations, onboarding, learning and development, and offboarding. A major part of the job is handling complex employee relations matters, including sensitive and management-level issues, while working toward fair and evidence-based outcomes. You will also look for the underlying causes of organizational problems and suggest improvements to policies and processes. Working closely with leadership, you will support workforce planning, compliance, and culture-related initiatives. This is a strong fit for an HR professional who is comfortable making independent decisions and solving complex people issues.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the full employee lifecycle as an HR business partner, including recruiting, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding activities.
  • Own and resolve complex employee relations matters, including cases involving managers, while ensuring outcomes are fair, consistent, and compliant.
  • Examine employee relations concerns to determine root causes and drive structured, durable solutions.
  • Work with leadership to create, revise, and roll out HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with business needs and labor law requirements.
  • Contribute to HR projects and help implement new initiatives across the organization.
  • Advise on HR topics such as payroll, benefits, compensation, and employee development programs.
  • Develop strong working relationships with managers and employees and act as a dependable HR advisor and partner.
  • Recommend enhancements to policies, workflows, and communications to strengthen compliance and operational performance.

Requirements

The employer is looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree and 4 to 6+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related area, or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience. Candidates should bring a strong foundation in employee relations, HR operations, and business partnering in a dynamic environment. The role requires sound judgment, the ability to evaluate complex situations, and a practical, solution-oriented approach. Experience handling escalated or sensitive employee relations issues involving multiple stakeholders or management-level concerns is important. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to influence others and build trust with senior leaders. You should be comfortable working independently, prioritizing competing demands, and operating effectively in ambiguous situations. A solid grasp of HR policies, compliance obligations, and employment law considerations is expected. Experience with HR systems such as ADP is preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay aligned with market standards for HR business partner roles.
  • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Career growth and development opportunities within HR leadership tracks.
  • Exposure to strategic HR work and cross-functional projects.
  • A supportive environment that values autonomy and decision-making trust.
  • Standard corporate benefits such as retirement savings options and paid time off.

Additional Information

The hiring process and next steps are managed by the partner employer. Applications are reviewed through an AI-assisted matching process designed to assess fit against the role’s core requirements, and the resulting shortlist is shared with the employer for final consideration. Interview and assessment decisions are made by their internal team.
