Role Summary
This position calls for a senior HR professional who can shape people strategy, establish dependable HR systems, and support business growth. The role involves both strategic and operational HR ownership, including hiring, employee performance, engagement, compliance, learning, analytics, and general HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and roll out an HR strategy that supports the company’s business goals.
- Strengthen the organizational structure and guide leadership on workforce planning and people-related decisions.
- Create HR policies, standard procedures, and best-practice frameworks.
- Lead organizational development and change management efforts.
- Manage hiring across functions such as sales, marketing, CRM, accounts, legal, HR, engineering, procurement, and administration.
- Develop strong talent pipelines for immediate and future hiring needs.
- Own the recruitment cycle from manpower planning through onboarding.
- Set up campus hiring and employee referral initiatives.
- Improve hiring quality and shorten recruitment turnaround time.
- Design KPI and KRA systems and oversee performance appraisal cycles.
- Run quarterly and annual review processes.
- Support succession planning, employee development, and identification of high-potential talent.
- Promote a healthy, performance-oriented culture through engagement and recognition programs.
- Handle employee grievances and support positive employee relations.
- Work on retention and employee satisfaction initiatives.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, confirmation, promotions, transfers, and exits.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure correct handling of payroll inputs, attendance, leave, and employee data.
- Monitor adherence to company policies and internal procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on HR-related matters and maintain statutory records.
- Support HR audits and compliance checks.
- Assess training needs and prepare annual learning calendars.
- Organize training programs for leadership, sales, customer service, compliance, and technical functions.
- Measure training effectiveness and development outcomes.
- Prepare monthly HR dashboards and MIS reports.
- Track recruitment, attrition, productivity, and engagement metrics.
- Share HR insights with senior leadership and use data for decision-making.
Requirements
- An MBA or PGDM in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, hospitality, or a similar industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage people and influence stakeholders.
- Hands-on expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Good understanding of HR policies, labour laws, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, HRMS tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Prior experience managing teams of 100 or more employees is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to scale HR operations in expanding organizations.
