Role Overview

The Senior HR Business Partner is a strategic, experienced HR leader collaborating with top management to enhance organizational effectiveness, improve workforce performance, and achieve sustainable business results. This role demands substantial autonomy and advanced HR expertise combined with sharp business insight to address multifaceted organizational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with organizational leaders to ensure alignment between people strategies and business goals, operational priorities, and expansion plans.
• Provide counsel on complex topics such as workforce structuring, organizational design, talent management, and performance optimization, utilizing strategic judgment.
• Develop innovative, feasible, and scalable HR solutions tailored to dynamic business environments.
• Act as a trusted authority on complex employee relations, advising leaders on sensitive issues with prudent judgment and awareness of risks.
• Apply thorough knowledge of employment laws, practices, and policies to proactively manage and resolve issues.
• Utilize influence and credible communication to balance employee experience with organizational requirements.
• Offer guidance on talent acquisition, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.
• Coach leaders on navigating challenging personnel situations and fostering high engagement and performance among teams.
• Support managers in consistent application of HR principles while adapting to unique business contexts.
• Leverage cross-disciplinary relationships to deliver comprehensive, business-aligned HR solutions.
• Represent the HR perspective effectively in senior-level and cross-functional meetings.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources or related discipline, coupled with a minimum of eight years progressive HR experience, including advanced HR business partner roles within complex companies.
• Extensive knowledge of HR principles, employment legislation, employee relations, and organizational development.
• Proven experience in analyzing complex situations, synthesizing diverse data, and exercising sound judgment amidst competing priorities.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at innovating solutions where existing precedents may be absent.
• Recognized as a credible advisor across all leadership levels, proficient in connecting HR strategy to broader business tactics through effective communication and persuasion.
• Demonstrates independence, accountability, maturity, discretion, and resilience, especially in sensitive or high-pressure scenarios.
• Business-focused, pragmatic, and solution-oriented, thriving in fast-paced, growth-driven, technologically sophisticated settings while developing scalable HR frameworks aligned with Redwood’s values and mission.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position based primarily onsite in Carson City, Nevada, with at least three days onsite expected weekly to meet business needs. Compensation will reflect candidate's experience level.
