Job Purpose

The Senior Graphic Designer will spearhead the conceptualization and execution of visually impactful designs for a diverse range of digital and print media. This role involves close collaboration with marketing and other cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, deliver exceptional visual solutions, and maintain strict adherence to brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of visually compelling content for both digital and print platforms, including websites, social media visuals, marketing materials, brochures, logos, advertisements, and other promotional assets.
  • Develop innovative concepts that align with AESG’s brand vision, ensuring a cohesive and consistent visual identity across all channels.
  • Produce designs that effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a visually engaging manner.
  • Manage the entire design process from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to brand standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality visual solutions.
  • Handle multiple design projects concurrently, effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all design materials strictly adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a unified and consistent visual identity across all platforms.
  • Regularly update and refine brand guidelines to ensure the visual identity remains relevant and contemporary.
  • Review and proof all design work to ensure it meets project specifications and upholds the highest standards of quality.
  • Ensure final designs are delivered in the correct formats for both digital and print, with a strong focus on details like color accuracy, typography, and layout.
  • Present design concepts and final deliverables to clients and senior leadership, effectively communicating the design rationale and incorporating feedback.
  • Adapt and revise designs based on feedback to ensure alignment with stakeholder objectives and overall project goals.
  • Continuously explore new design techniques, tools, and technologies to push creative boundaries and introduce fresh ideas into the design process.
  • Conduct research on competitor design strategies and industry trends to ensure designs remain competitive, engaging, and aligned with market expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a closely related field.
  • Possess 5-8 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends, emerging tools, and innovative design techniques.
  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools such as Sketch and Figma, with a proven ability to produce high-quality designs for both digital and print media.
  • Have extensive experience working with brand guidelines, ensuring brand consistency across all design materials while adapting designs to meet specific project needs and business objectives.
  • Exhibit a proven ability to conceptualize and create visually striking designs, layouts, and concepts, with a strong emphasis on creative problem-solving and delivering designs that resonate with target audiences.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of typography, including expert understanding of fonts, typefaces, and effective type usage to enhance design communication.
  • Have a strong understanding of color theory and psychology, applying color choices strategically to evoke the desired emotional response and strengthen the overall message.
