Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to act as a strategic advisor to business leaders by providing impactful financial insights that influence enterprise-wide decisions. This prominent position combines core financial planning and analysis duties with strategic evaluation, communication with executives, and leadership across functions. Responsibilities include owning critical planning activities and advancing our FP&A capabilities by enhancing financial modeling and analytics used for scenario analysis, capital allocation, and long-term corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve the companywide budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with business and cross-functional leaders to convert financial outcomes into strategic insights enhancing performance.
- Align actual results with forecasts and narratives through partnership with Corporate Accounting.
- Prepare executive-level presentations that clarify financial results, underlying drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage enterprise cash flow forecasting for both short- and long-term liquidity planning.
- Contribute to long-range corporate planning including ten-year projections and valuation models.
- Analyze complex financial and operational data to deliver actionable insights to leadership supporting forward-looking decisions.
- Develop sophisticated dynamic financial models to facilitate forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive process improvements and automation within FP&A to enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and scalability.
- Standardize and automate reporting cycles to shorten timelines and improve precision.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data within planning systems and support executive decision-making with enhanced analytics.
- Build strong business partnerships and influence decisions via deep financial modeling and insightful analysis.
- Foster a high-performing FP&A team environment and collaborate on expanding analytics and KPI tracking capabilities.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, accounting, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required; CPA or MBA is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and core financial operations.
- Expertise in handling complex data sets and creating flexible, decision-oriented financial models for business clarity around performance, risk, and opportunities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP and EPM/BI tools such as Adaptive, Power BI, and SQL.
- Proven skill in translating intricate financial data into understandable, actionable business intelligence.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration experience with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presenting skills tailored for executive audiences.
- Highly analytical, detail-focused, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive self-motivation with leadership capability and aspirations for managerial growth.
- Willingness to work onsite five days a week.
