Job Opportunity

Our Riyadh branch is expanding, and we are excited to invite a Senior Fire & Life Safety Consultant to join our award-winning team. This role involves collaboration with various specialty disciplines to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery and management tasks, reporting directly to associates, principals, and directors.
• Support project success by providing technical guidance to junior staff and fellow consultants.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-standard fire and life safety (FLS) submissions with ownership of quality assurance and control.
• Develop and modify drawings and sketches following AESG CAD, PDF standards, and detailing procedures.
• Prepare and review architectural fire and life safety drawings.
• Draft FLS strategy reports and studies as assigned by senior and associate consultants.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of FLS design deliverables.
• Assist in financial aspects of the department, including project pipelines, forecasts, accounts receivable, and efficient project execution.
• Develop expertise in fire and life safety regulations in line with NFPA, SBC, IBC, and UAE FLS codes.
• Handle all fire and life safety scopes such as strategies, drawings, fire protection, site inspections, among others.
• Meet deadlines for all fire and life safety designs, reports, and necessary client interactions such as meetings and workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of technical experience in fire and life safety.
• Native Arabic speaker.
• Strong technical knowledge of fire safety and engineering in Middle Eastern residential, commercial, and hotel sectors.
• Good understanding of building services engineering and interdisciplinary design across all design stages.
• Ability to comprehend project briefs and manage tasks efficiently within time and budget constraints.
