Senior Financial Systems Analyst

About the Opportunity

An established financial organisation is hiring a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to help maintain and improve core enterprise applications that are essential to day-to-day operations. In this role, you will keep systems stable, contribute to upgrade and enhancement work, and deliver advanced technical support for important business platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for core financial and business-critical applications.
• Diagnose complicated system problems and drive them to resolution.
• Take part in application upgrades and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Collect, review, and translate business needs into system requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to progress work smoothly.
• Carry out testing activities and support quality checks before releases.
• Create technical materials and clear user-facing documentation.
• Assist with integrations across enterprise systems and related applications.
• Track application performance and suggest practical enhancements.
• Be available for after-hours support when operational needs require it.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• Between 5 and 7 years of experience supporting enterprise business applications.
• Hands-on exposure to financial systems or ERP platforms.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Prior experience liaising with application vendors.
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
• Background in banking or financial services is an advantage.

Additional Information

This position is based in Doha, Qatar and follows an onsite working model. The role may require participation in support coverage outside normal hours when necessary.
