Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our client’s team based in Jurong East, West Region, Singapore. This key position involves working closely with senior leadership to deliver financial plans, track performance metrics, and aid strategic decision-making within a fast-paced business setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the annual budgeting and recurring forecasting cycles to provide accurate financial projections and valuable insights.
- Conduct in-depth variance analyses to uncover main factors influencing business outcomes.
- Build and refine financial models and conduct scenario planning to support strategic initiatives and investment considerations.
- Oversee cash flow management by preparing short- and long-term forecasts to optimize working capital.
- Support the development and monitoring of key performance indicators across Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Generate and present comprehensive management reports and visual dashboards that clearly communicate financial performance to senior stakeholders.
- Enhance reporting processes and drive automation initiatives utilizing tools like Power BI to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in outputs.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is necessary; Chartered Accountant qualification from ISCA or MIA is a plus.
- At least five years of relevant experience in FP&A, management accounting, or Big 4 auditing with FP&A involvement.
- Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and building comprehensive financial models.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex data into practical recommendations.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with Oracle or SAP ERP systems is preferred.
- Basic programming knowledge, particularly SQL, will be considered an advantage.
