About the Role
This position is for a Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller at a globally recognized high-growth technology company. The business has expanded significantly over the past five years and continues to flourish, maintaining a strong global presence and developing its finance teams. The company is located in the CBD of Sydney with a flexible work-from-home policy and offers a positive, collaborative organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial reporting and accounting functions for the group.
- Oversee financial planning and forecasting activities.
- Provide support and management for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) initiatives, including system consolidation post-acquisition.
- Coordinate with multiple international jurisdictions for finance-related operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a global corporate finance environment.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA are mandatory.
- Experience working within the UK markets is highly valued.
- Background working in Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firms is desirable, though the company is open to capable candidates without this experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and drive organizational change.
Additional Information
- Salary range is between $170,000 and $200,000 annually plus superannuation.
