Senior F5 Load Balancer Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Load Balancer Specialist with expertise in F5 BIG-IP technologies to join our Infrastructure Team. This role involves managing load balancing solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability of our network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and management of load balancing projects utilizing F5 LTM, APM, and GTM modules.
• Configure and maintain network components such as virtual servers, pools, nodes, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Ensure security by implementing SSL certificates and handling LTM SSL offloading configurations.
• Customize traffic management through the development and administration of iRules, iApps, and iControl scripts.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks including firmware upgrades (TMOS) and operational activities following IT service management protocols.
• Identify and troubleshoot advanced F5 network issues in collaboration with the technical team.
• Integrate with Linux environments, leveraging shell commands (TMSH), and maintain compliance with firewall and intrusion prevention system policies.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in implementing and monitoring load balancing technologies, with at least 3 complete projects executed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Comprehensive technical skills in F5 LTM, APM, GTM, TMOS, and Big-IP configuration management.
• Sound knowledge of networking fundamentals including Linux operating systems, firewall architectures, and IPS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Possession of mandatory certifications such as F5 BIG-IP Certified Administrator and CCNP Data Center or an equivalent credential.
• Preference for candidates with CCIE certifications in Data Center, Enterprise, or Infrastructure domains.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English languages at a professional level.
