Senior Executive - Transport Operations

About the Role

Delipack Express is seeking a Senior Executive to support the Head Office in managing transport operations, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient logistics processes that enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and monitoring daily transport schedules for various regions.
• Ensure consignments are dispatched and delivered promptly.
• Support strategies for route optimization and efficient vehicle usage.
• Coordinate with warehouse, customer service, and sales teams to align transport efforts.
• Serve as a liaison between the Head Office and branch operations.
• Manage and resolve issues concerning transport delays or customer complaints.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation including records, invoices, and delivery papers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations.
• Assist in audits and compliance verifications.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as delivery schedules, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Provide guidance and support to transport coordinators and executives.
• Assist in training staff on operational procedures and compliance requirements.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in transport or logistics operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Thorough understanding of transport documentation, compliance requirements, and route planning techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transport management software applications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
