Role Purpose

The position is tasked with advancing supply chain excellence and reinforcing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) governance throughout Godrej Agrovet’s businesses. The incumbent will engage closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Planning teams across Business Units to elevate planning accuracy, operational insight, process uniformity, and overall supply chain effectiveness. This role functions as a central coordinator for S&OP deployment, KPI governance, and continuous improvement projects spanning multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the establishment of uniform S&OP/Integrated Business Planning (IBP) frameworks across various business units.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Unit planning teams to enhance forecasting precision, supply planning discipline, and inventory transparency.
  • Organize regular reviews to evaluate demand, supply, inventory status, and service level outcomes.
  • Assist business teams in tackling planning and operational challenges using structured problem-solving approaches.
  • Lead cross-functional supply chain initiatives encompassing planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and network operations to boost service levels and operational efficiency.
  • Support digitization, automation, and analytics efforts within supply chain functions to drive modernization.
  • Standardize processes, develop common KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms throughout the businesses.
  • Create and maintain supply chain dashboards and performance review systems.
  • Analyze key supply chain performance indicators like Forecast Accuracy, On Time In Full (OTIF), Fill Rate, Inventory Days, Slow-moving Inventory, and Production Plan Adherence to deliver informative insights for leadership.
  • Ensure strong data governance and accurate reporting across ERP and planning tools.
  • Participate actively in supply chain transformation and capability enhancement projects including planning systems and analytics platforms implementations.
  • Promote standardization of processes and operational governance across locations and business units.

Qualifications and Skills

  • MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Agribusiness, or a related field is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of S&OP and Integrated Business Planning processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience with SAP ERP, planning software, and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing skills.

Industry Experience

  • FMCG and Food Processing sectors.
  • Agriculture and allied industries.
  • Chemical manufacturing industry experience.

Work Experience

Candidates should possess 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
