Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support regarding engine spare parts based on customer inquiries and order requirements.
  • Create and maintain data related to Material Master, Parts Supersession, Bill of Materials (BOM), and other relevant system records.
  • Assemble maintenance kits and provision spare parts responding to after-sales requests, system changes, and new engine sales.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive engine and system databases to optimize parts verification processes.
  • Offer technical guidance to warehouse teams on acceptance of inbound parts and returned customer parts.
  • Advise on the usability of stored inventory parts when asked.
  • Assess warranty claims and any discrepancies regarding parts supply from a technical standpoint.
  • Support warehouse personnel and customers in identification of parts.
  • Recommend inventory items based on technical information, campaigns, and field feedback. Mentor and direct junior executives in managing technical queries and project tasks.
  • Update catalogs and records to reflect technical modifications in engines and systems.
  • Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate corrective measures as necessary.
  • Handle special assignments as they arise.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience; knowledge of Electrical and Electronics Engineering preferred.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and part cataloging.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with SAP Material Management (MM) module is an advantage.
