Senior Executive – Finance Controllership

Role overview

Bridgenext is hiring a finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals to support its controllership function in Bangalore or Pune. The position is based on a 2:30 PM IST to 11:30 PM IST work schedule and sits within the Finance & Accounting team, reporting to the Senior Manager – Controllership.

The role is suited to someone who has around 4 years of experience and can contribute to month-end close, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting activities across multiple entities in a global operating environment.

What you will do

• Help drive month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and record journal entries for items such as accruals, prepayments, intercompany balances, and payroll.
• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management information reports.
• Ensure accounting treatment follows company policies and internal control standards.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and maintain the required supporting documentation.
• Contribute to revenue and cost accounting work, including expense monitoring and variance analysis.
• Use ERP tools such as NetSuite and look for ways to improve existing processes.
• Maintain trackers and coordinate controllership tasks across different teams.

What the company is looking for

The ideal candidate should have a strong grip on general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and reporting. The role calls for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable communicating clearly in a fast-paced global setup.

Required education includes CA, MBA in Finance, or B.Com. Experience of 3 to 5 years in accounting or controllership is preferred.

Nice-to-have exposure

Experience with multi-entity accounting will be an added advantage.
