Job description
Role Overview
This position supports the day-to-day running of dormitory housing operations, with responsibility for maintenance coordination, resident welfare, compliance, reporting, emergency response, and stakeholder coordination across assigned sites in Singapore.
Facilities and Maintenance
- Carry out daily checks of rooms, shared spaces, and facility areas, and make sure any defects are addressed quickly.
- Oversee repair works, upkeep activities, cleaning, pest management, and landscaping support.
- Work with external service providers on safety and security matters and help ensure rooms and assets are ready for use.
- Track contractor performance and raise concerns to the Dormitory Manager when needed.
Resident Engagement and Welfare
- Handle resident move-ins and move-outs, room assignments, and occupancy tracking.
- Respond to resident complaints, grievances, and welfare concerns in a prompt and professional way.
- Support initiatives related to health, hygiene, welfare, medical alerts, resident activities, and engagement events.
- Lead onboarding and orientation briefings so residents understand dormitory rules and processes.
Compliance, Reporting, and Administration
- Prepare and submit SHERP-related reports to the relevant authorities.
- Compile weekly activity updates, occupancy reports, and incident summaries for management review.
- Support inspections, audits, and licensing requirements linked to FEDA, MOM, and SCDF.
- Monitor adherence to house rules, manage breaches, and issue notices when required.
- Assist in reviewing and improving SOPs and operational workflows to raise efficiency.
Emergency and Incident Response
- Respond quickly to incidents, emergencies, and medical situations, escalating where appropriate.
- Take part in dormitory drills, safety briefings, and emergency preparedness exercises.
Partnerships and Collaboration
- Coordinate dormitory-related matters with employers, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies and other authorities.
- Work closely with Tenancy Management, Security, and Housing HQ to resolve issues and keep operations running smoothly.
Working Arrangements and Locations
Work is based onsite in Singapore. Assigned locations include Tuas Lodge at 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051, Acacia Lodge at 540 Bukit Batok Street 23, Singapore 659553, and Cassia@Penjuru at 11 Penjuru Walk, Singapore 608541. Islandwide transport is provided.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:15pm, and Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
