Job description
Position Summary
This position sits within the online operations function and reports to the Head of Insights and Operations (Online). The role is focused on keeping daily eCommerce activities running smoothly across Samsung.com and major marketplace channels. The person in this role will help manage order processing, stock control, refunds, customer issue handling, vendor coordination, and performance monitoring for key operational metrics.
Core Responsibilities
- Handle everyday order processing and fulfilment work, making sure shipments move on time and delays or cancellations are kept to a minimum.
- Track inventory and stock movement, address out-of-stock situations, and coordinate replenishment with the relevant product business teams.
- Work with customer service teams to resolve payment-related issues and support customer requests involving refunds and order cancellations.
- Support execution of the trade-in programme by helping resolve customer problems and partnering with vendors on issues such as device validation failures, incomplete submissions, and payment mismatches.
- Check vendor invoices, reconcile transactions, and make sure service-level agreement requirements are followed so billing errors are avoided.
- Spot operational gaps, suggest practical improvements, and help simplify processes to reduce mistakes.
- Assist with fraud and risk controls by identifying unusual operational activity and coordinating with the right teams to close issues.
Skills And Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline is required.
- At least 2 to 3 years of work experience in eCommerce operations, order fulfilment, or vendor management is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment are important.
- Hands-on familiarity with eCommerce platforms, order management systems, inventory tools, and reporting workflows is needed.
- High attention to detail and clear communication skills are necessary for working with teams across functions.
