Role overview
This role sits within the Logistics Operations team and reports to the Assistant Manager – B2B Logistics. It is an individual contributor position centered on hands-on execution, timeline control, and keeping the movement pipeline healthy across all delivery legs.
Core responsibilities
The main focus is to continuously monitor shipment ageing, identify delays early, and ensure operational compliance throughout the logistics network.
- Track shipments that remain at hubs or in transit beyond the expected SLA and share timely reports.
- Follow up on pending Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and work with carriers to close them quickly.
- Spot stuck or delayed shipments and escalate issues linked to regional limitations or capacity bottlenecks.
- Measure pick-up and delivery turnaround against target KPIs to maintain SLA adherence.
- Handle legal and process compliance for all movements, including management of E-way bill Part B.
- Oversee daily transport-network productivity and help prevent any operational backlog.
- Support monthly vendor review discussions by preparing performance data and delay trends for carriers.
- Use data analysis to investigate shipment delays and turn findings into practical improvement actions.
- Identify supply-chain bottlenecks that contribute to ageing and slower movement.
- Share real-time updates on regional disruptions or patterns that could affect delivery timelines.
