The Disney Studios Marketing division seeks a well-organized, proactive, and enthusiastic Senior Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Head of Marketing for Studios. This role offers a unique chance to deepen your understanding of entertainment and studio marketing, gaining insights into campaigns, strategic planning, and creative processes behind globally cherished films and narratives.

Role Overview

In this capacity, you'll manage daily operations for the Head of Marketing, collaborating closely with various marketing teams responsible for theatrical and streaming launches, promotions, events, and engaging audiences. Experience firsthand the development and implementation of extensive marketing campaigns within an international organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver thorough administrative and operational assistance to the Head of Marketing, including handling a dynamic and voluminous calendar aligned with business priorities.
  • Organize and prioritize both internal and external meetings alongside screening/directing calls in a rapid, demanding setting.
  • Oversee complex travel planning related to film premieres, global press tours, media engagements, and industry events, ensuring seamless logistics and expense management.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive data involving campaign strategies, talents, and business affairs with utmost professionalism and discretion.
  • Represent the executive reliably in communications with filmmakers, talent management, agencies, and senior stakeholders.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members and promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture within the marketing division.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance team productivity by streamlining administrative processes, refining tools/templates, and facilitating better coordination among campaign teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum three years of professional experience in administrative, coordination, marketing, communications, entertainment, or related roles demonstrating the ability to function as a strategic partner in a high-impact marketing environment.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including support in presentation creation and executive communication.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, able to prepare refined correspondence and marketing content.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to juggle multiple priorities connected to deadlines, launches, and events.
  • High standards of professionalism, judgment, and discretion while handling sensitive information, talent, and senior leadership interaction.
  • Proactive, flexible, and composed in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments.
  • Availability to support critical marketing timelines such as campaign launches, premieres, and notable events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience thriving in large, matrixed corporate environments with cross-functional creative and marketing teams.
  • Background in entertainment, media, marketing, communications, advertising, or creative sectors.
  • Interest in storytelling, entertainment trends, and audience engagement techniques.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Canva, and AI-based software utilities.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

Compensation & Additional Information

The salary range for this position located in Burbank, CA, is $65,300 to $87,500 annually based on a 40-hour week. Scheduled hours may vary depending on operational requirements. The final compensation will consider factors including internal fairness, candidate location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus and long-term incentive units may be offered alongside a comprehensive benefits package encompassing medical, financial, and other advantages according to role and level.
