Senior Enterprise Architect - Defence Consulting

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Architect possessing NV1 security clearance to join a growing Defence consulting team based in Adelaide. This role focuses heavily on influencing Defence technology strategies, shaping transformation initiatives, and providing executive advisory throughout the Defence sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Defence leaders and industry executives to establish technology strategies, enterprise roadmaps, and future-state architectures.
• Design target operating models, capability roadmaps, and prioritize investments consistent with mission and business objectives.
• Forge trusted partnerships with senior Defence stakeholders including CIOs, Chief Architects, and Program Directors.
• Lead architectural input into bids, proposals, and pursuits, crafting innovative solutions tailored to client challenges.
• Work alongside account and consulting leaders to identify new business opportunities and support growth initiatives.
• Deliver presentations on architecture strategies and solution designs to executive level audiences, aiding informed decision-making.
• Provide architectural leadership and governance for complex Defence transformation programs.

Candidate Requirements

• Australian Citizenship with current NV1 Security Clearance.
• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect within Defence, Defence Industry, or intricate government settings.
• Demonstrated track record supporting pre-sales, bids, proposals, pursuits, or business development within consulting, Defence, or system integration organizations.
• Strong expertise in crafting enterprise strategies, transformation roadmaps, and future architectures.
• Outstanding stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation abilities.
• Experience advising and influencing senior executives and technology leaders.
• Familiarity with Defence architectural frameworks, security protocols, and governance structures.
