Job description

About The Role

This full-time position operates Monday through Friday and is based in Santry, County Dublin. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of employee relations cases, offering expert support and advice to management for prompt resolutions.
  • Deliver accurate and professional employment law guidance on employee relations matters to managers.
  • Train, coach, and support management through all phases of the employee lifecycle aligned with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and embed organizational policies and procedures continuously.
  • Engage and collaborate with Trade Unions to address employee concerns effectively.
  • Prepare and represent the company in Third Party Hearings alongside legal counsel.
  • Ensure legal compliance and adherence to company policies throughout organizational change processes such as redundancies, restructures, and TUPE transfers.
  • Review and enhance HR documentation, templates, and tools consistently.
  • Contribute to attaining company and HR objectives, supporting wider business projects and initiatives.
  • Act as a role model demonstrating the company's TRUE values to foster a high-performance culture encouraging colleagues’ full potential.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent; CIPD qualification preferred.
  • Extensive working knowledge of employment law.
  • Proven experience in a similar role handling comprehensive employee relations and industrial relations issues.
  • Experience in the services sector is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated high integrity and discretion.
  • Experience working within a unionized environment.
  • Proven ability to advise and support managers at all organizational levels on employee relations matters.
  • Organized, methodical work approach with the ability to use initiative independently.
  • Effective team player possessing strong communication and management capabilities.
  • Positive work ethic with a proactive attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
