Job description

Role overview

This senior leadership role is responsible for steering several real estate development initiatives from early feasibility and concept stages all the way through completion, handover, commercialization, marketing, and sales. The position calls for a leader who can coordinate multiple disciplines and ensure delivery of high-quality projects that stay aligned with budget, schedule, and strategic business goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct the end-to-end delivery of multiple real estate development projects, starting with feasibility and continuing through completion and commercialization.
  • Build development strategies, execution roadmaps, budgets, timelines, and milestone plans for each project.
  • Provide senior-level guidance and decision-making support to project teams throughout every phase of development.
  • Make sure all projects support business targets, quality expectations, and market needs.
  • Oversee master planning, architectural work, engineering design, and other technical development activities.
  • Coordinate and manage external consultants, architects, engineers, and specialist advisers.
  • Assess and approve concept designs, value-engineering proposals, and technical solutions.
  • Confirm that all design outcomes reflect market demand, regulatory obligations, and investment goals.
  • Ensure design progress moves smoothly into construction documentation and readiness for execution.
  • Lead infrastructure delivery covering roads, access routes, utilities, services, landscaping, external works, site preparation, and enabling works.
  • Supervise superstructure construction across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use schemes, including structural works, MEP systems, finishing, and final handover.
  • Hold contractors accountable for scope, budget, quality, and schedule compliance.
  • Track risks, issues, and mitigation actions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage development budgets, cost plans, and overall financial performance.
  • Review forecasts, cash flow needs, and opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
  • Oversee procurement approaches and contract administration.
  • Prepare and present project updates, risk reports, and performance metrics for executive leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional teams spanning development, design, construction, finance, legal, procurement, marketing, and sales.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with government bodies, investors, consultants, contractors, and strategic partners.
  • Ensure clear coordination and communication among all stakeholders involved in the projects.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams on product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market planning.
  • Align development outputs and product features with customer expectations and prevailing market trends.
  • Support sales efforts using market insights, product differentiation, and delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate launch plans, sales targets, and customer experience objectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations, permits, and development standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control systems.
  • Identify project risks and put mitigation plans in place.
  • Help ensure projects meet sustainability, safety, and operational requirements.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or a professional certification is an advantage. The ideal candidate should bring substantial real estate development experience with strong leadership responsibility and a demonstrated record of delivering large residential, commercial, mixed-use, or master-planned projects. Experience should cover the full development cycle, including design, infrastructure, superstructure, completion, marketing, and sales. Strong knowledge of development workflows, construction methods, project finance, and market positioning is essential, along with proven experience leading consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
