About the Role and Company
Join Vituity as the Senior Director, Operations Radiology, working remotely from anywhere nationwide with a focus on leading specialty operations in radiology. Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the entire specialty operations team for radiology services.
- Manage daily operational performance across all radiology sites, ensuring accountability for metrics such as work RVUs, turnaround time, and quality benchmarks.
- Create and implement operational playbooks addressing new site launches, ongoing site stabilization, and site closures.
- Set strategic vision and design policies to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and enhance quality within specialty services.
- Collaborate with consulting teams for process integration and site performance improvement.
- Monitor radiologist productivity, turnaround times, read volumes, modality use, and staffing levels, proactively addressing risks and gaps.
- Manage credentialing, privileging compliance, and quality assurance activities.
- Strategize and manage radiology technology platforms including PACS, RIS, teleradiology, and data integration to support growth and enterprise standards.
- Lead adoption of AI tools and data analytics to drive decision-making and operational innovation.
- Control specialty P&L, budgets, vendor relations, and revenue cycle collaboration.
- Support growth initiatives by working with contract development and site integration teams.
- Provide mentorship and performance management for direct and indirect reports, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Represent operations in senior leadership and strategic forums.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Public Health or related field plus a minimum of 10 years progressive experience in operations management.
- At least 5 years of specific experience within radiology specialty healthcare.
- Preferred Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare management, or Public Health.
- Familiarity with hospital systems, physician specialty management, payer contracting, and revenue cycle management.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively with physician partners and build effective multisite service teams.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a results-oriented mindset.

Compensation and Additional Information
The annual base salary range for this position is between $153,380 and $199,395, excluding benefits and possible bonuses. Compensation offers will be determined based on skills, education, and experience, aligned with equitable pay practices. This position participates in an annual performance-based bonus program.
