Position Overview
The Senior Director of Operations is a part-time remote leadership role responsible for overseeing and improving core operational workflows across diverse business units. This position plays a vital role in operational strategy development, oversees key performance measures, and implements enhancements for delivering exceptional client service while ensuring compliance and optimal resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business processes.
- Track and analyze performance indicators to drive operational efficiencies and compliance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on company-wide strategic planning and execution.
- Manage budget alignment, financial forecasting, and resource distribution to support objectives.
- Supervise and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and accountability.
- Identify operational risks and new business opportunities through critical data analysis.
- Oversee the implementation of solutions aimed at driving growth and maximizing client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Significant experience in operations management, particularly with multi-site or international operations.
- Strong background in process optimization and use of decision-making analytics.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and cross-departmental stakeholder management.
- Expertise in financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Orientation towards delivering superior customer service and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prior exposure to financial services or the securities sector is highly beneficial.
- Outstanding communication abilities, capable of effectively presenting complex information.
- Comfort and proven ability to excel in a remote work setting with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar; advanced credentials such as PMP, CFA, or an MBA are advantageous.
