Role Overview

As the Senior Director of Client Management, you will embody Cedar's client-facing presence, fostering enduring partnerships with executive leaders in healthcare systems. Your primary role will be to craft tailored account strategies, nurture high-level consultative relationships, and collaborate internally to drive client success and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain customized client account strategies that align Cedar's offerings with clients' objectives to ensure long-term partnership success.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by building and sustaining strong consultative relationships with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders, gaining deep insights into their challenges and effectively positioning Cedar's solutions.
  • Utilize data analytics and compelling storytelling to demonstrate the value provided, discover optimization possibilities, and support contract renewals and business expansions.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with Sales, Product, Commercial Strategy, and Operations teams to deliver cohesive and impactful client experiences while identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Advocate within complex client organizations and internal Cedar teams to navigate challenges, negotiate contracts, and balance client requirements with company goals.
  • Represent Cedar's leadership by preparing executives for client interactions, ensuring alignment among senior internal and external stakeholders.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Between 7 and 10 years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or consulting, preferably within healthcare or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining VP-level and above relationships within health system partners.
  • Proven experience in securing contract renewals and driving partnership expansions.
  • Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • Keen interest and experience in healthcare technology industries.
  • Capability to deeply understand and clearly communicate product capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, self-starter mindset.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with diverse internal teams including product, engineering, and marketing.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary ranges depend on location and experience: $144,500 to $170,000 annually for CA, NY, NJ, CT, WA; $130,100 to $153,500 elsewhere.
