Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Digital Visual Designer on a part-time contract basis. This role involves supporting diverse digital design projects with up to 20 hours per week commitment. The contract is initially short-term and project-based, with opportunities for a longer-term engagement for strong performers.

Core Responsibilities

Create digital visual assets for websites, social media, email campaigns, and advertising.
Interpret briefs and brand guidelines to develop polished, consistent visual designs.
Work closely with marketing, product, and account teams to understand project objectives and deliver effective design solutions.
Present design ideas and revise based on stakeholder feedback.
Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials.
Manage personal schedules to meet project deadlines while delivering quality output.

Required Qualifications and Skills

At least 5 years of professional experience in digital visual design.
Experience or familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing digital work across multiple formats including web, social media, email, and display ads.
Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or other equivalent tools.
Solid understanding of typography, color schemes, layout design, and digital design standards.
Ability to independently manage several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills with confidence in explaining and justifying design decisions.
Availability to commit up to 20 hours weekly.

Additional Preferred Skills

Experience working within agencies or handling multiple clients/brands concurrently.
Basic capabilities in motion graphics or animation.
Knowledge of accessibility standards relevant to digital design.
Experience with ISI is advantageous.

Compensation

The hourly pay range is between $90 and $110, finalized post-interview based on demonstrated competencies and skills.
