About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to spearhead data quality, maintenance, and import operations while enhancing the company's analytics capabilities. You will be responsible for owning SPARETECH's core data hub—the Golden Layer—by acquiring, importing, and maintaining spare parts product data, thereby increasing its overall value. Your role will involve guaranteeing data accuracy and integrity, designing and leading reporting as well as analytics frameworks, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage the acquisition, importing, and upkeep of product data within SPARETECH's proprietary database, ensuring both accuracy and high quality.
- Perform comprehensive quality assurance on incoming catalogues and maintain database integrity by investigating and resolving any reported product issues, working closely with Data and Partner Management teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and lead the creation of key data reports and analytics that facilitate improved decision-making company-wide.
- Take complete ownership of Product Data Management and Data Acquisition processes, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance and refine current systems and workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in data analysis, data management, or business intelligence roles.
- Proven track record of establishing analytics capabilities in a growing organization.
- Expertise in designing and implementing data quality checks and governance frameworks.
- Strong skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and clear communication.
- Proficiency with SQL and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using Python or R for data analysis and process automation.
- Familiarity with both relational and non-relational database systems, as well as Metabase.
- Knowledge of modern data processing techniques and relevant tools.
- Experience mentoring junior analysts and fostering a company-wide data-driven mindset.
