About the Role

Khaliyaan By The Sisters café in Solan is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Cook/Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing a wide variety of dishes including Continental, Chinese, fast food, and café-style items.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality starters, continental and Chinese cuisine along with fast food and café snacks.
• Ensure consistent taste, appealing presentation, and accurate portion sizes for all dishes.
• Maintain strict kitchen cleanliness and adhere to hygiene standards at all times.
• Efficiently manage food preparation, proper storage, and inventory controls.
• Minimize food wastage while upholding kitchen discipline and orderliness.
• Work productively during busy periods and coordinate effectively with the service team.
• Contribute innovative menu ideas and seasonal specials to enhance the dining experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience of 2 to 5 years in continental cooking techniques.
• Proficient in preparing Chinese cuisine.
• Expertise in crafting fast food and café snacks including starters, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, pizza, noodles, fried rice, momos, spring rolls, and fries.
• Basic knowledge of North Indian dishes is a beneficial additional skill.
• Strong understanding and practice of food safety and hygiene protocols.

Additional Information

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹25,000, negotiable according to the candidate's skills and experience. Along with the salary, food, accommodation (if applicable), and performance-based incentives will be provided. Immediate joining is preferred. This role demands a self-reliant cook capable of managing the kitchen and preparing diverse café meals beyond traditional Indian fare.
