Job description
Job Overview
This position involves negotiating, analyzing, drafting, and modifying LNG contracts and service agreements. A key responsibility is to manage and oversee contract documentation, including tracking and communicating contractual nomination deadlines for all contract elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and revise LNG contracts and related service agreements.
- Maintain management and control over documentation, ensuring proper records and communication of contractual nomination dates.
Experience and Skills Required
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a contracts role, including at least 3 years specializing in LNG Trading.
- Demonstrated expertise in LNG physical and derivative transactions and trading practices, preferably as a Contract Administrator or Manager within LNG or energy sectors.
- Ability to provide well-informed options and advice to commercial stakeholders.
- Competence in identifying risks and opportunities within complex operational conditions.
- Multidisciplinary knowledge covering trading, risk management, sales operations, commercial and financial aspects, contract administration, legal matters, economic analysis, and project experience.
- Strong skills in managing relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Capability to make swift, risk-informed decisions, occasionally with limited information.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Law, Business Administration, or related fields from a recognized international university.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as an MSc or MBA are preferred.
