Opportunity Overview

The Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) team in Bangalore is a dynamic, rapidly evolving area presenting diverse challenges and responsibilities that provide room for leadership growth. The FSRM practice specializes in risk management, regulatory compliance, quantitative analysis, and technology, delivering comprehensive risk management services to global capital market participants.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy SAP BusinessObjects (BO) solutions including universe development (IDT/UDT), Web Intelligence report creation, dashboard design, and other BO tools as required.
• Optimize and maintain universes using SAP BO Information Design Tool (IDT).
• Develop advanced reports and dashboards through SAP BO Web Intelligence (WebI).
• Conduct data analyses to extract meaningful insights for stakeholders leveraging SAP BO tools.
• Manage SAP BO administration tasks such as monitoring system performance, security architecture, and resource usage.
• Engage with business users to gather requirements and translate these into technical specifications.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing SAP BO implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to SAP BO reports, universes, and dashboards.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of data modeling concepts and database management.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and guidelines in developing and implementing SAP BO solutions.
• Preferably possess familiarity with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Knowledge of SAP BO version 4.3 is an advantage.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• More than five years of experience specializing in BI reporting and management with SAP BO.
• Strong expertise in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) domain and its reporting needs.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data effectively.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for diverse stakeholder interaction.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies beyond SAP BO.
• Certifications related to SAP BO or other business intelligence platforms.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate insights clearly to decision-makers.
