Job description
About the Practice
At Capgemini Invent, the Business Technology practice guides organizations in making smarter technology-related decisions — from investment and governance to extracting measurable value. The focus primarily lies in serving clients within financial services, including banking and insurance, with selective engagements in other industries. Our Southeast Asia team operates with a streamlined structure characterized by small, high-performance groups and minimal hierarchical layers, providing consultants early responsibility and direct engagement with client leaders to deliver high-impact outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and bring order to complex, multi-year transformation initiatives by establishing a 'control tower' that ensures oversight and governance across business and IT domains.
- Establish comprehensive enterprise architecture blueprints that guide substantive investment decisions, guaranteeing that the client’s IT environment is coherent, scalable, and directly aligned to their strategic goals.
- Analyze technology portfolios to optimize IT expenditure, develop persuasive investment proposals, and assist CIOs in communicating the financial and strategic benefits of their technology initiatives.
- Design strategies, governance frameworks, and operating models that facilitate the responsible and regulated deployment of agentic and generative AI solutions at scale.
Your Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will take on the role of a primary problem solver embedded within client teams. Your tasks involve structuring unclear problems, synthesizing complex data, and creating actionable roadmaps for transformative programs. You will bridge gaps between business objectives and necessary technologies, with significant early ownership and direct interaction with senior decision-makers as integral features of your position.
Candidate Profile
- A professional background spanning 5 to 8 years in management consulting, IT strategy, or corporate transformation with practical experience in areas such as large-scale program governance, enterprise architecture, IT operating model design, IT financial management, or AI strategic planning.
- Exceptional analytical abilities combined with structured thinking to simplify complicated challenges effectively for executive audiences.
- Demonstrated competence in client-facing interactions, including workshop leadership, participation in steering committees, and delivery of clear, substantiated outcomes.
- Academic credentials in business, technology, or related disciplines, paired with a strong interest in technology and an aptitude for mastering complex subjects swiftly.
- Experience within the financial services domain or a strong desire to cultivate expertise in this sector is highly valued.
