Role overview
Mansource is hiring a Senior Construction Manager for an urgent refinery revamp assignment in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar. The assignment begins on August 1, 2026 and runs for 4 months. Rotation is not available for this position.
In this role, you will take charge of site construction delivery across the full project lifecycle, including construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up support. The position calls for strong leadership, sound decision-making, and the ability to maintain momentum on a fast-paced project while protecting safety, quality, and schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate site construction work across Static Equipment, Piping, Structural, and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) teams.
- Maintain adherence to HSE expectations, quality standards, site execution plans, and schedule commitments.
- Oversee contractors, supervisors, and discipline leads, and quickly resolve technical or operational issues arising on site.
- Drive mechanical completion, close out punch lists, and support handover of systems to commissioning teams.
- Assist with pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities so the transition from construction to operations is seamless.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years' experience working as a Construction Manager in refinery, petrochemical, or oil and gas projects.
- Hands-on exposure to brownfield execution, shutdowns, turnarounds, and revamp assignments.
- Experience managing multi-discipline construction packages across both construction and commissioning phases.
- Prior involvement in the revamp, repair, or replacement of Reformers and/or Fired Heaters will be considered a strong plus.
- Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
Additional information
This is a full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar. The engagement is planned for 4 months, with no rotation arrangement.
