Job description
Role overview
This is a high-impact senior compliance opportunity with a fast-growing technology company operating internationally. The role is centered on client contract governance and offers significant exposure across global business activities.
What the role involves
Reporting to the Director of Risk, you will take ownership of building and maintaining the governance approach for client contracts. The focus is on creating a strong compliance framework that can identify, track, and manage contractual obligations across complex client relationships and commercial arrangements.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to embed governance expectations into day-to-day operations, improve contractual compliance, increase visibility over obligations and risk, and provide meaningful reporting and metrics to the business.
Candidate profile
The ideal background is 7 to 10+ years of experience, ideally gained in a Big 4 consulting firm or an in-house compliance/risk environment. You should have practical experience handling complex commercial agreements and interpreting legal and contractual obligations across areas such as supplier, customer, and financing/debt arrangements.
Strong familiarity with regulatory frameworks is important, along with the ability to create governance structures, obligation registers, mapping processes, and controls from scratch. Experience in large-scale environments such as data centres, infrastructure, energy, or technology is preferred.
The role also calls for a commercially grounded mindset, with the judgment to balance compliance risk against business outcomes in a complex setting.
