Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Client Onboarding Officer to enhance our team in Dublin, Ireland. This role focuses on facilitating smooth, efficient client onboarding by managing fund launches, transfers, and ongoing maintenance. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional activities, drive onboarding projects from start to finish, and become a reliable point of contact for clients and internal teams alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding process by managing fund launches, transfers, and maintenance events to ensure clients experience effective service delivery.
- Take complete ownership of onboarding projects, collaborating closely with the Onboarding Manager to align strategies and processes.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, partners, and internal teams, cultivating relationships and confidently addressing escalations.
- Maintain transparency by providing consistent reporting, effective communication, and detailed documentation of onboarding progress.
- Coordinate with various teams to align stakeholder efforts and meet clients' requirements thoroughly.
- Supervise legal and operational setup of client mandates to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and operational readiness.
- Manage account setups, including Depositary and Clearer accounts, supporting a successful onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure all setups are prepared before the onboarding goes live.
- Engage closely with subject matter experts such as the SRM and SEC FI teams to resolve critical issues and enhance daily operations.
- Facilitate smooth handovers to SRM teams ensuring seamless transition to business-as-usual operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A university degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of eight years’ experience within the fund industry.
- Proven track record in managing client onboarding processes.
- In-depth knowledge of the funds business and regulatory compliance, specifically UCITS and AIFMD frameworks.
- A proactive and determined approach to managing complex onboarding projects.
- Strong teamwork skills with motivation, dependability, resilience, and a service-first mindset.
- Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills suited for client-facing interactions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
