Senior Civil Engineer - Reinforcement Specialist

Role Overview

As a Senior Engineer specializing in Civil reinforcement, you will oversee the cutting, bending, and tying of reinforcement cages for concrete segments, ensuring adherence to approved drawings and project requirements. Reporting directly to the Casting Yard Project Manager, you will also engage with various engineering representatives and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to maintain quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise reinforcement cage fabrication aligned with project specifications.
• Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) based on sanctioned drawings.
• Optimize usage of steel materials, minimizing scrap and offcuts.
• Guarantee compliance to safety protocols for personnel and equipment within the work environment.
• Ensure quality checks are performed at every phase of reinforcement processes.
• Submit monthly steel requirements to the Construction Manager.
• Manage coordination among shift engineers and submit Requests for Information (RFI) as per planned activities and systems.
• Collaborate with external departments for seamless operations.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of rebar usage and inventory.
