Senior Business Analyst - Payments Domain

Position Overview

This role involves driving strategic initiatives by analyzing historical, current, and projected business trends to shape and execute strategies that meet organizational goals. The candidate will collaborate extensively with various internal teams to identify challenges and propose effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative strategies focused on products and services within the payments sector.
• Provide insights and analysis to support business growth and operational improvements.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and address business needs effectively.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of six years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• Demonstrated expertise in the Payments industry, including detailed understanding of payment processing protocols and messaging standards such as SWIFT, ISO 20022, ACH, wire payments, and RTP/Instant Payments.
• Knowledge of cards and digital payments is an advantage.
• Experienced in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Strong skills in requirement gathering, documentation, and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Proficient with tools for process modeling and business analysis.
• Outstanding communication and presentation capabilities.

Additional Criteria

• Background in banking or financial services sectors.
• Participation in large-scale payment transformation projects.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and other related software tools.
• Certifications like CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA are desirable but not mandatory.
