Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned (Senior) Business Analyst (m/f/d) to take charge of planning, coordinating, and implementing IT projects primarily in banking, insurance, and payment sectors. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing technological workflows and pioneering innovative solutions in emerging markets.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and analyze IT projects within banking and insurance from initial conception through to successful deployment.
  • Collaborate with multiple specialist departments to accurately capture software development requirements and ensure project delivery according to those needs.
  • Conduct detailed analyses and develop concrete implementation plans covering analysis, conception, development, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Ensure that project goals, milestones, deadlines, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Identify risks and challenges during project progress and devise and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with external partners and service providers to guarantee smooth project execution.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematical Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Several years of hands-on experience managing IT projects within the insurance or banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of software development and experience with agile project methodologies.
  • Familiarity with core systems managing banking and insurance portfolios.
  • Expertise in handling complex domain data models.
  • Excellent analytical skills and capacity to solve intricate problems.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in German language.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Willingness to travel regularly and provide on-site client support as needed.
