Overview
Join Malomatia, a premier IT services provider based in Qatar, as a Senior Business Analyst. This role involves driving digital transformation initiatives by producing detailed business and functional documentation, collaborating closely with product teams and stakeholders, and supporting innovative solutions that shape Qatar's digital future.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, process flow diagrams (As-Is and To-Be), use cases, and maintain requirements trace matrices.
- Work alongside Product Owners to refine and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring user stories are well-defined, sized appropriately, and ready for sprint execution.
- Lead reviews and walkthrough sessions of requirements with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment.
- Conduct Fit-Gap analyses to compare business needs with proposed solutions, recommending process enhancements and digital enablers where applicable.
- Manage the requirement baseline throughout the program lifecycle by handling change requests, performing impact analysis, and maintaining version control.
- Define and verify acceptance criteria; facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, defect management, and final release approvals.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and detailed user journeys.
- Produce high-level, bilingual (English and Arabic) documentation suitable for clients and executive audiences.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities by preparing requirements inputs, capability statements, and proposal materials.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analysis, particularly with enterprise digital transformation, data, or AI projects.
- Demonstrated experience working on agile teams as a business analyst partner to Product Owners.
- Ability to transform complex business requirements into clear functional specs and well-crafted user stories.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic, capable of conducting stakeholder workshops and producing executive communications in both languages.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement across business, technical, and senior management levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Exposure to AI/ML, advanced analytics, or generative AI use cases is a plus.
