Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Associate for Talent Acquisition to join our recruitment team in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is a response to increased hiring activity and offers the opportunity to take ownership of comprehensive recruitment processes, supporting various business functions in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and departmental leaders to grasp workforce needs and ensure timely execution of recruitment strategies aligned with organizational campaigns.
- Design and implement effective talent sourcing plans to build a strong candidate pipeline for key roles.
- Deliver expert guidance to managers, providing up-to-date insights into market trends and candidate landscapes.
- Manage job postings, candidate data, and job requirements, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the process.
- Facilitate the entire life cycle of recruitment, from initial sourcing to assessment, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
- Maintain a comprehensive local database and contact repository for prospective talent, boosting ongoing talent pipeline efforts.
- Organize and support events related to talent attraction and assessment, working alongside the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Participate in specific projects that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of talent acquisition activities.
- Identify recruitment process risks or obstacles and proactively flag them in alignment with business needs.
- Utilize data analytics and HR metrics to extract actionable insights, driving continuous improvement in hiring practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR, Business, or a science-related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on recruitment experience, ideally in a high-volume or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in global pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations is an advantage.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale recruitment campaigns.
- Proficient with recruitment branding and marketing tools/processes.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, particularly Workday, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet strict deadlines.
