About the Role
This senior associate position offers an excellent opportunity to work with an investment manager overseeing assets of more than $40 billion. The role is based in the company's Dublin centre of excellence and involves collaboration across their global operations. This is a contract role requiring four days per week on-site presence in Dublin City.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Investment Valuation Team, you will contribute to the department by reviewing various operational workflows on a fund-wide basis. Your duties will include verifying fund expense allocations; preparing and reviewing capital account statements, distribution notices, and quarterly reports; managing cash flow data; generating reports to meet client and regulatory requirements; and handling data input, system uploads, report reviews, and data reconciliation.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrate excellent administrative organization with a keen eye for detail
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Manage multiple tasks and coordinate with members of the Operations team and other departments
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Familiarity with fundamental finance and accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and open to learning new software tools
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the accounting team to verify that fair market valuation standards are consistently applied to partner-submitted reports
- Support data review and reconciliation processes
- Oversee and assist with data entry necessary for compiling quarterly net asset values of investments
- Coordinate with other teams to obtain pertinent investment information
- Liaise with auditors regarding partnership net asset valuation matters
- Participate in process implementation and testing as part of the department’s transformation initiatives
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent qualification
- Professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA are advantageous
- Minimum of five years' experience in finance or accounting; private equity experience is a plus
