Job description
About Singh Capital Partners
Singh Capital Partners is a multi-strategy private investment firm based in Washington, DC, with an additional office in New York. The firm invests across venture capital, private equity, real estate, and public markets, and also serves as a limited partner in some of the world’s leading funds. Its investment view is centered on the belief that the next wave of major companies will emerge where advanced technology meets American dynamism, especially in AI, defense, energy, and space.
Role overview
The firm is hiring a Senior Associate for its growth equity team. In this position, you will work closely with senior leadership on finding, assessing, and helping execute investments across key technology sectors. The opportunity offers meaningful ownership, direct involvement in investment decisions, exposure to founders, and early participation in firm strategy. The role involves time spent across New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco, and suits someone comfortable in investor discussions, diligence conversations, and founder-facing settings.
What you will do
- Identify and assess investment opportunities in AI, defense, energy, space, and closely related technology areas
- Build financial models, conduct market analysis, and carry out detailed diligence on potential deals
- Write investment memos and help shape investment decisions with firm leadership
- Develop strong relationships with founders, operators, co-investors, and sector specialists working at the edge of technology
- Deepen expertise in core sectors and form a well-reasoned view on market direction
- Support portfolio companies through strategic input, introductions, and access to the firm’s network
- Take part in firm-building activities such as recruiting, events, and platform development
What the firm is looking for
- Strong familiarity with AI-enabled workflows and the regular use of AI tools in research, writing, and analysis
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in a leading investment bank, growth equity or venture capital firm, or management consulting practice with substantial technology exposure
- Well-developed and practical perspective on AI, defense, energy, or space, backed by direct experience
- Ability to construct financial models independently, challenge assumptions, and defend conclusions under pressure
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to produce concise memos and present confidently
- Clear enthusiasm for technology investing and for the sectors influencing U.S. competitiveness
- A record of performing and succeeding at a high level in professional, academic, athletic, or similar competitive environments
- Capacity to work quickly and autonomously in a culture that values conviction and speed
- Degree from a demanding academic institution
Compensation and benefits
The compensation package includes a competitive base salary plus a performance bonus, aligned with experience. The role also includes co-investment rights across the firm’s broader portfolio, spanning venture capital, private equity, real estate, and public markets.
