Job description
Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Senior Architect to drive the design and delivery of real estate developments. The position calls for someone who can uphold design quality, ensure adherence to applicable regulations, and help projects move successfully from early concept through completion. A strong background in real estate development and construction is important, along with the ability to work closely with multiple disciplines and maintain consistency across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct architectural design work from initial concept development through to construction documentation.
- Evaluate and refine designs produced by consultants and internal design teams.
- Work in close coordination with structural, MEP, and project management functions to support seamless project execution.
- Visit project sites and track construction activities to confirm alignment with the approved design and expected quality level.
- Assess shop drawings, technical submittals, material selections, and specification documents.
- Guide, support, and oversee junior architects and design personnel.
- Deliver design concepts and technical advice to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in real estate development, consulting, or construction.
- Registration or membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers is needed.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and MS Office is expected.
- Sound understanding of local building codes, construction methods, and sustainability requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Professional-level English proficiency is required.
